The Council of St. Joseph's men’s group defines and discusses what a good Catholic Man should be and how he should live his daily life. This group gives guys the opportunity to connect with other men while having the freedom to be honest. Thus, we are striving to encourage a real, authentic community amongst Catholic men, a brotherhood. 

On Thursday August 31, 2023, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM, the Men’s CRHP/Welcome Alumni will gather in McGivney Hall to share experiences, faith, and socialize. Nuestra consagración de la Parroquia de St. Mark a Jesús por María será en la Fiesta de la Asunción, el martes 15 de agosto en la Misa escolar de las 8:30am y en las Misas de las 12:15pm, 5:30pm y 7:30pm.  También rezaremos las oraciones de consagración en las Misas de Vigilia de las 5:30pm y 7:30pm el lunes 14 de agosto por la noche.

Our St. Mark Parish consecration to Jesus through Mary will be on the Feast of the Assumption, Tuesday, August 15th at the 8:30am school Mass and 12:15pm, 5:30pm and 7:30pm Masses.  We will also pray the consecration prayers at the 5:30pm and 7:30pm Vigil Masses on Monday evening August 14th.

Veritas is hosting a Nerf night! Join us on August 17th in the Great Hall at 7pm. We are inviting all young adults of the parish to come for a night of fun and fellowship. Nerf supplies are provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.

Las Bolsas Negras se repartirán inmediatamente después de la colecta regular durante el ofertorio de la Misa.

The focus of this collection will be helping those in our community struggling with rent and utility issues plus assisting those living in temporary housing find affordable housing in the aftermath of the pandemic and economic fluctuations. The Black Bags will be passed around immediately following the regular collection during the offertory portion of the Mass.

Make new lifelong friends in a small community setting. Reconnect to our beautiful faith while growing in appreciation for the Mass. All men (18+) are invited to join us for the Welcome Experience at St. Mark for two days and one night that will change your life! Registration is now open for the weekend of October 14th & 15th.

El camión de comida de Caridades Católicas estará en el estacionamiento del Centro Pastoral Smyth (1100 West 15th St. Plano, TX 75075) repartiendo comida el 5 de Agosto, de 9am a 11am. El camión de comida estará en nuestra parroquia el primer sábado de cada mes.

The Catholic Charities food truck will be in the parking lot of the Smyth Center (1100 West 15th St. Plano, TX 75075) passing out food on August 5th, from 9am to 11am. The food truck will be at our Parish on the first Saturday of every month.

All are invited to the next Live Christ Share Christ meeting on Saturday, August 5th, from 10 am - noon. This month's meeting will be an introduction to Liturgical Bible Study. The location will be the Smyth Center Room 101. Live Christ Share Christ is a lay evangelization group that meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month in the same location. We meet for music practice at 9 am before our talk or bible study at 10 am. At noon we share lunch and have community. Please consider joining to strengthen your faith and prayer life with like minded Catholics.

The St. Michael Society's next meeting will be on Sunday, August 6th in Room 210 of the Smyth Pastoral Building at 2:00pm.
