The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Tamales Sale on Saturday, September 28th, from 9 AM to 2 PM at the Smyth Pastoral Center parking lot, and on Sunday, September 29th, following each Mass. Proceeds from the sale will benefit our seminarians and support other Knights of Columbus charitable activities. This is the third time our school has received this prestigious honor, previously earning it in 1992 and 2007. Out of more than 115,000 schools across the country, only 356 were selected this year, and St. Mark is one of just 16 schools in Texas to receive this recognition three times!

This year, we invite you to join our campaign to improve the safety and beauty of St. Mark’s campus by upgrading the outdoor lighting. Currently, there are dark areas that need to be lit to ensure a safer and more welcoming environment, especially as the winter months approach. Our goal is to raise $150,000 for this lighting project.

Este año, te invitamos a unirte a nuestra campaña para mejorar la seguridad y la belleza del campus de St. Mark mediante la actualización de la iluminación exterior. Actualmente, hay áreas oscuras que necesitamos iluminar para garantizar un entorno más seguro y acogedor, especialmente al acercarse los meses de invierno. The dates for annual mandatory training for all Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion have been set. Three sessions are planned. The dates are as follows: 9/4 English 7pm - 8:30pm, 9/8 Spanish 6:30pm - 8:30pm, 9/9 English 7pm - 8:30pm. All sessions will be held in the Church.

We warmly invite you to embark on a spiritual journey through “The Wild Goose” series. Join us every Thursday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, beginning on August 29th, in the Great Hall. This inspiring series will run for 7 consecutive Thursdays, offering an opportunity to deepen your faith and connect with fellow parishioners who share a desire to grow closer to the Holy Spirit. Attendance is free, and you are welcome to bring a family member or friend along.

The Women of St. Mark would like to invite all women of our parish ages 18 and over to come to our meeting on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 7 pm in McGivney Hall at the St. Mark Parish Office building (1105 West 15th St, Plano, TX 75075). The Women of St. Mark mission is to provide friendship, spiritual growth, and sociability for the women of our parish as well as opportunities to serve the parish and community.

August 15th is the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. We will have vigil Masses on August 14th at 6:00pm in English and 7:30pm in Spanish. The August 15th schedule is 6:30am English, 8:30am English, 12:15pm English, 6:00pm English, 7:30pm Spanish.
